2023 Annual Appeal.
FBBG’s 2023 Highlights:
- Taught 1000’s of K12 SE WI students in nature; funding classes & transportation for students who are otherwise unlikely to have these vital learning experiences.
- Planned and facilitated seasonal expert led FBBG Garden Walks and, a variety of community engagement classes for all ages/populations.
- Planned and facilitated our 7th annual Member Appreciation Picnic – 575 attendees!
- Hosted FBBG’s annual January Winterfest for children and families.
- Hosted FBBG’s 2 annual craft fairs….generating 4000+ in attendance.
- Recruited 900+ community & corporate volunteers in support of Boerner’s garden staff; 27,000 hours donated since FBBG instituted this vital program in 2010!
- Planned and facilitated FBBG summer nature programs for families.
- Funded installation of historic Rock Garden safety railings.
- Funded the historic Annual Garden gazebo roof repair.
- Hosted our 4th annual event at Will Radler’s garden; nearly 500 FBBG members & friends attended!
