Since 2012, the Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens instituted the first ever volunteer initiative for support of Boerner’s significantly reduced horticulture staff. Each year from March-October, FBBG recruits community memebers and corporate teams to come help out in the Gardens.
FBBG hosted a Volunteer Orientation Day on March 30. This is the first in-person orientation since co-vid. It felt good to be back getting ready for the Garden season.
