In 2023…FBBG also offered nature driven community engagement with:
• Family Summer Mondays…reading and activity for children and their families.
• Community engagement classes…hands on activities for all ages & populations.
• Day and evening garden walks.
• The FBBG donor funded interactive Children’s Garden, Margie’s Garden, opened July 8, 2022 and is utilized for K and pre K reading and craft activities.
• Various historic Boerner enhancing/preservation initiatives.
• Volunteer recruitment (FBBG initiative begun in 2010); over 27,000 community and corporate (US Bank, Baird, etc.) team hours donated in support of FBBG and the Gardens.
