Botanical Gardens as we explore how gardening can help those on a cancer journey. Studies have shown
gardening can help lower stress levels and promote relaxation. This event will offer instruction on
implementing gardening into your life in a variety of ways. There will also be opportunities to visit
booths displaying and demonstrating services and products to enhance your overall well-being.

Breakout sessions will last for 45 minutes and will include a hands-on component.During registration and the 10 a.m. break, you are welcome to enjoy:
• Composting: Using worms to your gardening advantage.
• Container Gardening: No yard to garden in? Learn how to grow plants successfully in containers.
• Herbs: Strategies for growing herbs in your kitchen.
11a-noon Visit booths, networking time available
11:30a-noon Spring garden guided walk through botanical gardens and woods
