Winter Sowing of Native Plants with Barbara Federlin, Native Plant Enthusiast
Monday, January 26
10:30am – 12:30pm
Help our Wisconsin environment by learning to sow native seeds in the winter to plant in the spring. The native seeds will experience the necessary chill of Wisconsin, triggering spring germination. Seeds and one jug will be provided, but you may bring your own seeds and a second clear or translucent jug. Dress for working with soil and water and bring gardening gloves. You’ll leave with one jug of winter sown, native seeds, making a second if time allows, as well as the knowledge on how to care for them.
- Cost: $20/FBBG members and $25/non-members
