Copper Feather

November 20, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Wednesday, November 20

6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

$65/public, $60 members

Award winning artist and creator of the Copper Meaning Feather, Kami Strunsee of Timber Lane Studio guides you through the process of creating a beautiful copper feather utilizing cold-formed metal techniques. Color your feather with a rainbow of beautiful alcohol inks. The end result is a beautiful singular feather mounted atop a rustic piece of barn wood that is sure to be a showstopper in your home. Choose from a variety of hand-stamped copper wood plates to mount beneath your feather to add an extra layer of personalization. Just as we are all unique individuals, no two feathers are alike.

All tools and materials will be provided. Copper is sharp, but when handled carefully, is perfectly safe. However, if you find yourself a magnet for accidents, please bring a close-fitting pair of gloves (like gardening gloves). Timber Lane Studio and Boerner Botanical Gardens are not responsible for any injury acquired during the workshop.
