FBBG’s 2022 Highlights…
- The FBBG donor driven Children’s Garden opened July 8th!
- We planned/funded/facilitated outcomes driven multi session, nature programming for 1000s of K12 school students, scout groups, home schoolers, special needs organizations and interactive programming for all in our community.
- We welcomed a team of youth educators from Chicago Botanic Gardens– hosted at their request in order to learn more about FBBG student programming.
- We hosted events for the WI Parkinson’s Association, offering customized nature activities and garden walks.
- We facilitated our 12th straight year of Volunteer Recruitment for garden staff support; a program initiated by FBBG in 2010. 21,000+ hours donated to date!
- We introduced a new family oriented fundraiser format in the Gardens featuring interactive activities and attractions for all ages.
- We funded safety railings for Boerner’s historic Rock Garden!
